Triumph Live Terms & Conditions – Public

 

General

 

Triumph Motorcycles Limited wishes you to have an enjoyable and safe time at Triumph Live.  In order to best guarantee this, we are only prepared to admit members of the public willing to comply with the rules set out below.  We are sure you will want to assist us.

All persons entering the event are admitted subject to the following. Any person who does not comply with these Regulations may be removed by either Triumph Live Security Personnel or Police Officers. This is without prejudice to any claim that Triumph may have against such a person or persons arising out of their actions. Whilst inside the race circuit and factory, all visitors must comply with any instructions given to them by Security, Triumph Personnel or Police Officers.

Triumph Motorcycles Limited reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse admission to the Triumph Live event, ban from entry to the event or remove from the event any person who:-


1. Has been convicted of a criminal offence, which, in the opinion of Triumph Motorcycles Limited, is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors;

2. Has behaved in the event in a manner, which, in the opinion of Triumph Motorcycles Limited, has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors;

3. Uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner, which may provoke a breach of the peace;

4. Does not follow the written or verbal safety instructions or behaves in a manner which may endanger the safety of the individual or other visitors.
  • To prevent offensive weapons or dangerous articles from being taken into the event, visitors are admitted subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves to be searched. It is prohibited to bring any weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles or other articles, which may cause injury. The throwing of any article, which could cause injury or annoyance, is strictly prohibited.
  • The event ticket is non-transferable – no refunds are possible for this event.  Subject otherwise to the terms and conditions of entry to the circuit; the terms and conditions of entry to the Triumph factory and the terms and conditions of entry to the camp site, copies of which are available on request.  The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to the event.
  • Photography and video will be taken at the event and may be used for publicity purposes. Organiser: Mallory Park Motorsport Ltd & Triumph Motorcycles Limited.
  • Animals are not admitted (except assistance dogs) into the Triumph Factory, circuit, camp site or car parks.
  • The event admission ticket is strictly not for resale – any violation will invalidate and lead to conviction.  

To assist in ensuring your safety, CCTV is in operation.

  

At the Race Circuit

 
The organiser reserves the right, without notice, to postpone or cancel all or any part, of the race/event programme.  Further it is a condition of admission that all persons having any connection with the promotion and/or organisation and/or conduct of the meeting, including owners of vehicles and passengers in/on the vehicles, are absolved of all liability arising out of accidents causing damage or personal injury (whether fatal or otherwise) howsoever caused to spectators or ticket holders.
 

 

Transport to/from the Factory

Transport ON SATURDAY to and from the factory will be from Mallory Park Circuit only on allocated shuttle buses on presentation of a valid Factory Tour ticket.

  • Only those visitors arriving at the factory via the provided shuttle bus service will be admitted.  Persons arriving by their own personal transport will not be admitted - with the exception of disabled badge holders.
  • The last shuttle bus will leave the circuit at 3:45pm.
  • The last shuttle bus will leave the factory at 5:00pm.

Please note that transport ON SUNDAY to and from the factory IS only for persons arriving by their own personal transport and entrance is also only available on presentation of a valid Factory Tour ticket.

At the Triumph Factory

 
Health and safety of visitors is paramount. Guidelines must be followed and anyone failing to adhere to the regulations may be ejected from the tour.

  • These Regulations are for the benefit of all our visitors and will be strictly enforced.
  • In the event of an emergency a siren will sound (a two-tone continuous siren). All visitors must leave by their nearest fire exit and assemble at the security gatehouse at the entrance to the factory and await instructions. 
  • Intoxicating liquor must not be taken into the factory and any persons found possessing alcohol, or who appear to be under the influence of alcohol will be refused admission or escorted from the factory.
  • For security reasons no cameras or recording equipment may be used on the Factory premises.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited within the factory, with the exception of designated smoking areas (ask Triumphpersonnel for details).
  • The Triumph Live Factory Tour will be unaccompanied.  Information points can be found along the tour route (English only).
  • Members of staff will also be present along the tour route to answer any questions (English only).
  • The Triumph Live Factory Tour involves approximately one hour of walking, although visitors may complete the route at their own pace and may take longer if required.  The route is suitable for wheel chair users.  Wheel chairs are not provided by Triumph Motorcycles Limited.
  • The tour route will be clearly marked. Visitors must remain within the tour pathway and not stray from it.  The factory contains many hazards. These will be avoided by remaining inside the tour path.
  • Do not run inside the factory.
  • Any persons found to be disobeying the above advice will be removed from the site.
  • There are no age restrictions; however the recommended minimum age is 14 years old. Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • There are no public catering facilities on site and limited WC facilities.
  • The wearing of clothing, which in the opinion of Triumph is offensive to other visitors, is not permitted. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Triumph reserves the right to cancel or amend any tours.
  • The Triumph factory will close at 5:00pm on Saturday and all visitors must be off-site by 5:00pm. The Triumph factory will close at 11.00 am and all visitors must be off-site by 12:00 midday

Terms and Conditions - Camping

1. Persons will not be admitted unless they have a tent, caravan, or mobile home. The practice of sleeping in motorcars and motor vans will be prohibited.


2. All vehicles will be subject to a search (with consent from owner or driver of the vehicle). The organisers still reserve the right to refuse admission if consent is not given.


3. Items that will be prohibited on site will include:

  • Firewood
  • Axes
  • Saws
  • Fireworks
  • Large amounts of alcohol (limit per person will be 12 (bottles/cans per day)
  • Anything considered to be an offensive weapon
  • Illegal substances
  • Oil drums (Half)
  • Any gas or LPG container over the 15kg weight
  • Any unlicensed vehicle or bike

Those in possession of prohibited items will be requested to place them in a ‘disclaimer bin’ and sign a disclaimer notice relinquishing ownership of the item. If any visitor refuses to hand over a prohibited item they will be refused entry to the event.

4. Secure Storage areas will be located at the Search Lane areas.

5. No persons shall be admitted on site prior to the proposed opening time. Likewise with closure times, all persons will leave by the proposed time.

6. All persons wishing to use the campsite must have purchased campsite tickets and Triumph Live tickets.
  

7. All persons camping will be issued with a wristband.  This wristband must be worn at all times.  Visitors without a wristband will be refused entry to the campsite and/or the event.

8. No refunds will be issued at any time.

9. Broken or lost wristbands will be replaced at the visitor’s full cost.

10. Anti-social behaviour will not be permitted. Those that do not adhere to the policy will be asked to leave or ejected from site.  Anti-social behaviour includes:

  •  Behaving in a manner, which, in the opinion f Triumph Motorcycles Limited, has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors;
  • Using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner, which may provoke a breach of the peace;
  • Ignoring written or verbal safety instructions or behavin in a manner which may endanger the safety of the individual or other visitors.

11. The Police will be called if a criminal offence is committed.

12. Anyone refused entry can be served with a notice of exclusion. Individuals served with an exclusion notice will be banned from entering the event for its duration.
 
13. The camping areas will be divided into clear and precisely designated areas – one area will be designated as the Tented Campsite. One area will be designated as the Caravan and Motor-home Campsite.  Visitors must use the area of the campsite they are directed to.

14. Car and bike parking areas will be clearly separated from camping areas. 

15. The Campsite will have designated camping areas and designated emergency routes within it.  Visitors must camp only within the designated camping areas.

16. A traffic system will be in place throughout all campsite areas.  A speed limit of 10mph will in operation and enforced on the whole campsite area.


Terms and Conditions - Ticketing

Buy Triumph Live tickets online with confidence! The ticketing system on this microsite, provided by Mallory Park Motorsport Ltd uses a special HIGH SECURITY system to protect your credit card details, utilising sophisticated scrambling and encoding technology that fully complies with latest recommended standards.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just select the items you wish to purchase following the on screen instructions. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Mallory Park Motorsport accept credit card payments from Access, Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta and use a highly secure system for protecting the integrity of your personal details, where the details are readable only by yourself and Mallory. During transmission through the Internet, the details remain scrambled.

Mallory Park Motorsport does not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. If you wish to secure delivery of your tickets by special methods, please send an email before placing your order to

If you are purchasing tickets from outside the UK and consider that you should not be charged VAT, please contact Mallory Park Motorsport before placing your order, and they will make special arrangements.

Mallory Park Motorsport knows of no documented cases of credit card fraud using the shopping shopping system on this microsite. All credit card numbers are encrypted by the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach Mallory Park Motorsport’s computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site or as they pass through the Internet.

If Mallory Park Motorsport sends you tickets that you have not ordered, they will replace them with the correct ones as soon as possible. Please advise Mallory Park Motorsport of the error before returning them, and they will agree how the tickets should be addressed in order to ensure an efficient replacement.

Mallory Park Motorsport strongly advises you to use the Recorded Delivery service when returning tickets, as in cases of non-arrival; they will not be able to accept Proof of Purchase.

 

Mallory Park Motorsport will compensate you for any reasonable postal expenses incurred in returning the wrong/damaged tickets.

 

If tickets are damaged in transit, you should also contact Mallory Park Motorsport before returning them. If possible Mallory Park Motorsport would like to see the packaging as well as the damaged tickets. They will agree how the articles should be addressed in order to ensure an efficient replacement.

The “Golden Ticket” free prize draw - Terms & Conditions

 

The “Golden ticket” prizes are as follows :

  • First prize consists of a VIP trip to the press launch of Triumph’s new Adventure Bike range.  
  • Second prize consists of a place on a 2011 Triumph Experience Day.
  • Third prize consists of the loan of a Triumph Motorcycle for three months.
  • Fourth prize consists of £300 worth of Triumph clothing and/or accessories.
  • Fifth prize consists of £200 worth of Triumph clothing and/or accessories.
  • Sixth prize consists of £100 worth of Triumph clothing and/or accessories.
  • Seventh prize consists of a pair of backstage passes for the Triumph Live 2010 event at Mallory Park with an opportunity to meet The Stranglers.
  • Eighth prize consists of a pair of “pit lane access” passes for the Triumph Live 2010 event at Mallory Park.

Free prize draw entrants will be deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

  • This free prize draw is open to individuals who are UK residents, excluding employees of Triumph Motorcycles Limited and authorised Triumph Dealers, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion.
  • Triumph Motorcycles Limited may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the prize may be withheld until and unless Triumph Motorcycles Limited is satisfied with the verification.
  • In order to be eligible for the free prize draw, entrants must have pre-purchased one or more tickets either via the electronic ticketing gateway at www.triumph-live.co.uk or via the Mallory Park ticket hotline, before midnight on Sunday 22nd August 2010 and be recorded on the ticketing database.
  • The winners will be selected at random on Monday 23rd August from all eligible entries received.
  • Each winner will be notified within 7 working days by email, mail or telephone. Prizes are awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to confirm within seven calendar days of this date, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at Triumph Motorcycles Limited’s discretion. Additional Terms and Conditions specific to Press Launch prize 

 

  • The prize constitutes a trip to the press launch of the new Triumph Adventure Bike range. This includes two nights’ accommodation, flights and transfers, meals, soft drinks and the loan of appropriate Triumph riding gear (excluding crash helmet). To participate the winner must have their own ACU ‘gold’ approved helmet in good condition.
  • The winner must be over 21, an experienced rider and hold a full, unendorsed UK motorcycle license. Proof of license will be required.
  • The trip will involve a certain amount of off-road riding and the winner should be prepared for this.
  • The prize does not include transfer to and from the airport of departure.

 

 Additional Terms and Conditions specific to Bike loan prize

 

  • The prize consists of the loan of a Triumph for 3 months, including fully comprehensive insurance, road tax/registration fees and service costs.  The winner is responsible for all running costs incurred during the loan period including but not limited to fuel, oil, tyres and other consumables.  The winner is also liable for any speeding, parking or other fines incurred during the loan period. The prize must be collected from a Triumph authorised dealer and the 3 month loan period will commence from the date the prize is collected.
  • The winner must be over 21, an experienced rider and hold a full, unendorsed UK motorcycle license.
  • The loan Bike may be any model in the current range, subject to stock availability.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions specific to Triumph Experience Day prize

 

  • The prize consists of a place on a 2011 Triumph Experience Day, including the loan of appropriate Triumph riding gear (excluding crash helmet).
  • The winner will be offered a choice of four dates on which the prize will be made available.  To participate the winner must have their own ACU ‘gold’ approved helmet in good condition.
  • The winner must be over 21 and have held a full, unendorsed UK motorcycle license for a minimum of one year.  Proof of license will be required.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions specific to Triumph Clothing and Accessories vouchers

 

  • Vouchers can be redeemed against Triumph clothing and/or accessories in any UK Triumph authorised dealer. 
  • The voucher value is the retail value including V.A.T. at the rate applicable at the time the voucher is presented for redemption.
  • The voucher may be redeemed against only the cost of clothing and/or accessories and not fitting.

 

Terms and Conditions - Band battle

 

 

1. This Competition ("Promotion") is open to all Bands/Artists who are resident in Great Britain. Employees (or family members of employees) of any group company of the Promoter, companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies may enter this Promotion.

2. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering this Competition.

 

3. Band/Artist must be unsigned.

 

4. Band/Artist material must be owned by the Band, or proof of permission to perform material provided.

 

5. Triumph have the right to use all material uploaded in all promotional purpose.

 

6. Triumph retain right to remove bands that upload material deemed unsuitable or in breach of copyright.

 

7. This Competition will comprise three stages, subject to the response level and will run as follows:

Stage 1: Voting on the website. Voting will close at 17:00 on Sunday August 15th and the top six scoring winners will be notified within one week and invited to participate in stage two.

Stage 2: To play live – venue and date tbc (probably 26th August). Voting will take place on the night and the three winners will be notified within one week and invited to perform at Triumph Live.

Stage 3: The top three bands from stage two perform at Triumph Live on September 18th.

 

8. Participants must be available to play at both the stage two heat and at the main event on September 18th 2010.

 

9. If any participant is not able, for whatever reason, to attend either the stage two heat or Triumph Live, or cannot be contacted within 14 days of a closing date or either event, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.

 

10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.

  

11. The prizes consist of the following  :

The top six bands from the online voting will be invited to play at a “stage two” heat (venue and date tbc), in front of a select audience. Triumph will make a discretionary contribution of £250 per band for this appearance, to cover transport costs.

 

The top scoring band from heat two will be invited to play the support slot before Mumford & Sons and headliners, The Stranglers.

They will also be declared Triumph’s “official band” for the remainder of 2010 and 2011 and they will be invited to write, record and be credited on, the sound tracks to Triumph videos produced during that period. They will also be featured on a special page of triumphmotorcycles.co.uk and the band will receive Triumph gear to the value of £1000 inc VAT.

 

Bands two and three from heat two will also be invited to play at Triumph Live 2010 – first or last on the bill (to be confirmed) and each band will receive £500 inc VAT of Triumph gear.

 

12. The prizes do not include anything which is not is not explicitly included in the above description.

 

13. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. There is no cash alternative to the prize(s) (or any part of them) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prize where applicable.

 

14. The competition is based on the goodwill of the Acts and Voters within the spirit of fair competition. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under the Terms and Conditions.

15. All winners (online and from heat two) may be required, as a condition of being awarded the prize, to participate in promotional and publicity materials at the reasonable request of the Promoter.

 

16. All winners agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration.

 

17. The Promoter will use winners’ and entrants’, personal details for the purpose of administering this Promotion.

 

18. In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the competition, the decision of the Promoter shall be final.

 

19. The Promoter is not responsible for network, telephone line or communication failures of any kind.

 

20. The promoter assumes no responsibility for damages, losses or injuries that result from acceptance to the competition or use of any prize.

 

21. For a hard copy set of these Terms and Conditions or the name of the winners, please send a SAE to Triumph Live 2010 by no later than date 2010.

 

22. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

 

23. The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.

 

24. Details of winners' names and county will be available for one month after the close of this Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below and stating the name and date of the Promotion.

 

25. This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.

Triumph does not accept any liability whatsoever for defects caused by the fitting of non-approved parts, accessories or conversions, or by the fitting of any approved parts, accessories or conversions by non-approved personnel. The fitting of non-approved parts, accessories or conversions, or the fitting of approved parts, accessories or conversions by a dealer who is not an authorised Triumph dealer, may affect the handling, stability or other aspects of the motorcycle's operation, which may result in an accident causing serious injury or death. In particular it is extremely hazardous to fit or replace parts or accessories whose fitting requires the dismantling of or addition to either the electrical or fuel systems.

 

At Triumph we want every ride to be safe and enjoyable. Be sure to ride safely, defensively and within the limits of the law and your own riding abilities. Take a riding skills course. Always wear an approved helmet, eye protection and appropriate protective clothing and always insist that any passenger does the same. Never ride while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
